I bought a lovely skein of hand dyed yarn to make pair of socks for me.
It's been languishing in my stash; I couldn't bring myself to do anything but pet it, it's so pretty and soft. The bamboo in the yarn just makes it so luxurious.
Then, at the 2009 UVFF I saw the person I'd bought the yarn from and she encouraged me to go ahead and knit with the yarn. Thanks, Andrea. :-) I just finished grafting the toe and have a gorgeous new pair of socks!
I love bamboo in sock yarn. It is impossible to really appreciate how shiny and how soft it feels until you touch the skein. The socks came out so nice! I bet you are glad you knit it up. Now you can go buy more!!
